    GLO-QUARTZ® temperature control models TC1 and TCD are to be used with heaters equipped with an over-temperature sensor. Both models are combination controls. The functions of the various switches and pilot lights are outlined here.

    Type LLC - Liquid Level Control

    Model LLC control is designed to de-energize the power supply to a heater if the liquid level of the solution should drop below the heated portion of the heater. The two setting probes of the control are immersed in the solution to be heated. A negligible current flows between the probes when immersed. Once the liquid level drops below the probe, the circuit is automatically de-energized.

    The probes are available in stainless steel, titanium, or impervious graphite for use in almost any solution.

    Thermowells are designed to protect capillary and bulb assemblies from chemical and physical damage. All models will accept either 1/4" or 3/8" sensing bulbs. Require 1/2” NPT Fitting.

    Model T1B

    • Non-Indicating single pole, single throw mechanical thermostat.
    • 60º-250º F Temperature Range, +/-4% differential, 16 amps.
    • 4 Foot FEP-covered capillary & bulb.
    • Pilot light standard.
    • Durable moisture-resistant case.
    • 30º-120ºF also available, specify T1A when ordering.


    Model T1Jb

    • Non-Indicating single pole, single throw electronic thermostat.
    • 50º-250º F Temperature Range, 20 amps.
    • 10 Foot FEP-covered type “J” thermocouple.
    • Durable moisture-resistant case.
    • 0º-100º F also available, specify T1Ja when ordering.


    Model T2A

    • Non-Indicating double pole, single throw thermostat.
    • 60º-250º F Temperature Range, +1-4% differential 25 amps.
    • 5 Foot FEP-covered capillary & bulb.
    • Sensing bulb 1/4” diameter x 9 1/2” long.
    • Durable moisture-resistant case.
    • 0º-100º F (type T2AL) & 175°-550°F (type T2B) also available.


    Model T1Rb-LCD

    • Indicating single pole/ single throw electronic thermostat.
    • 50º-250º F Temperature Range, +/-2% differential, 20 amps
    • 4 Foot FEP-covered platinum RTD sensor
    • LCD readout display.
    • Durable moisture-resistant case.
    • Longer 6 foot sensor probe available-specify when ordering.
